Ebony Magazine "Launch Party"

The party was held at the Schomburg Center in Harlem, New York City.Versatyle wrote and performed an original piece for Ebony's Launch Party hosted by Tony Perkins, of Good Morning America, other performances included K. E. M. and Vickie Winans. Versatyle was mentioned in JET in and pictured in EBONY magazines and referred to as "spoken word star Versatyle".


 

The 2006 Poetic Ambassador Award

This award was presented to poets/organizations that have been on PrysmaticDreams.com, Whispered Words Poetry Mix cds or The Session and have made not only conscious effort in bringing spoken/poetry to the mainstream but also an impact to the genre.


 

the 380 PROJECT - A James Robert Productions Presentation

Versatyle made a cameo on the soundtrack to the documentary "380" with the song "The Shots Rang Out". The 380 project was developed to address the issue of senseless violence in the streets of Philadelphia.


 

McDonald's Gospelfest 2006 Finalist

Versatyle was one of six finalists for this national competition. Headlining the competition was renowned gospel artist Donne McClurkin.


 

"Murder What's Next?"

Cast as one of the lead roles in this hard hitting production, Versatyle played the arch nemesis of God - Satan. Following a one month attendance of more than 20,000 Murder What's Next? returned by popular demand in July.

Independent film "Love Line" 

In this romantic comedy, Versatyle was cast as the lead role. Writers for the film have written for the movies Men In Black, Bad Boys 1, Independence Day and the sitcom Fresh Prince of Bel Air.

Versatyle has written for and was interviewed by this national magazine.

 


 

Untamed Tongues - Las Vegas, Nevada  

Versatyle was a featured artist on the Las Vegas based internet radio show and has been featured on their poetry

compilation series "Funky Ride".
